Continuing themes of sexual harassment which were first explored in The Entitled hand, I decided to take a more sculptural approach and experiment with casting in plaster. Having tactile objects now allowed me to easily play around with dramatic lighting and the composition of each hanging hand. The final images also mimic the emerging hand from a black background as seen in my painting.
